He has particular expertise in the establishment, structuring and governance of family offices, advising on the legal, regulatory and strategic considerations that support effective oversight and long-term stewardship. His broader experience encompasses mergers and acquisitions, commercial and contract law, private debt and equity transactions, licensing and regulatory matters, escrow arrangements, relocation, real estate, art law and equine law.
Ariel is regularly instructed on government relations, defence matters and other sensitive international mandates where legal, commercial and strategic considerations intersect and where discretion, sound judgment and an international perspective are required. His work is mainly international, with a particular focus on the United Kingdom, United States, Switzerland, Monaco, the Middle East and Hong Kong.
Before entering private legal practice, Ariel held senior positions within international private banking. His roles included responsibility for international markets, wealthy families and entrepreneurs, as well as membership of executive, investment, risk, treasury and client-review committees. Along side his legal practice, Ariel serves on the boards of selected international companies, private foundations, charitable organisations and professional bodies.
