For 12 years, Jason held the position of CFO/COO within the Single Family Office of what was, at one point, the wealthiest family in the UK and the 25th richest family in the world.
In this role, Jason managed a complex structure spanning multiple jurisdictions, overseeing the family’s private affairs. He provided both financial and operational oversight, supporting executive teams while also focusing on the minutiae of operations and service delivery.
Under his stewardship, the family’s lifestyle assets included a fleet of yachts, long-range aircraft, and an extensive portfolio of properties. His responsibilities also extended to logistics, public relations, human resources, security, and managing a large team of staff and crew, all dedicated to ensuring the highest level of service for the family and their guests on a daily basis.
Jason earned a reputation as the pivotal figure who held everything together – acting as the family’s ambassador in meetings and negotiations, the primary point of contact for advisors, and the trusted confidante for the Principal in sensitive matters.
Jason has spent his career managing finances, operations, and strategy across complex international structures, but the value he brings is just as relevant to SMEs and family-run businesses. Beyond his experience as a CFO, he has co-founded, built, and successfully sold a cargo airline, as well as bought and sold a number of other businesses. This hands-on entrepreneurial track record means he understands the pressures owners face, from cash flow challenges to building teams and delivering growth. By actively using AI to analyse data and highlight key insights, he helps businesses cut through complexity, improve efficiency, and focus on what really drives results.
Today, Jason works with business owners and families who want experienced financial guidance without the cost of a full-time executive. He helps set up and professionalise family offices, supports one-off strategic projects, and provides ongoing advice to established businesses. As a Non-Executive Director, he offers independent oversight and a trusted sounding board for owners, while as a Fractional CFO he gives growing companies access to senior financial leadership on a flexible basis—helping them gain clarity, improve decision-making, and build stronger, more resilient businesses.
“Whenever we are faced with a conundrum, Jason is always there to provide a sounding board giving advice drawn on similar practical situations he has faced in the past. These insights, you cannot get from a professional advisor, they are borne from someone who has worked under the hood of a family office. I value and trust his input and will continue to do so” – UK Single Family Office
